Vol 7 No 1 (2025): Critical perspectives and tools for rethinking communication in times of polarization through action

To speak of methodological and analytical proposals is to understand their performative conception: from where one speaks, how one interprets reality and what consequences it has in the scientific sphere, but also in the social and cultural spheres. The research presented here is a clear example of social commitment to break polarization processes and move towards inclusive communicative models.

Communication & Methods (Comunicación y Métodos) is an international open access journal that presents up-to-date international research results stressing, but not being restricted to, topics of media and research (advertising, journalism, cinema, television, etc). It is open to proposals for special issues, commentaries, book reviews and extended review essays.

Communication & Methods (Comunicación y Métodos) utilizes a double-blind peer review process for original research articles in which the reviewer and author’s names and information are withheld from the other. All manuscripts are reviewed as rapidly as possible, while maintaining rigor. The journal’s policy is to have manuscripts reviewed by two expert reviewers. Reviewers make comments to the author and recommendations to Editor, who makes the final decision.
